Nobody told us that the pool/spa would not be available for the 3 days we were there. (We are both 68 and we choose hotels with pools because of arthritis.) We kept being told 'probably tomorrow'. When we arrived back at the hotel at 6 pm on our final night we found our room hadn't been touched. When we asked the desk clerk for help, he told us there was nobody available, but he could give us some towels. I spoke to someone at the front desk on check-out who told us that we would have an adjustment made to our bill. No adjustment was made.

Breakfast was decent. Bed good. Room size and layout good.
Dirty, torn liturature and advertising displays in room. Doors torn up. Remodeling needs to be cleaner or a bigger discount on the room rate during construction should be encouraged.

Comfortable rooms. Personable staff.
Renovations are occurring and we were not informed prior to booking. Booking was made because of the amenities available. Due to renovations they were not available. Also dirty washcloth was found in the room hanging on the shower curtain rod at check in.

The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The beds were cozy. Hot tub was nice, so was the pool but it could use a cleaning.
Was unable to reach a comfortable temperature in the room, had to get up every hour to turn heat on or back off. Even on lowest temp setting & on low fan the room would get too warm but would cool off quickly when heat off (date of stay March 2016 w/outside temps in the mid-30's). Pool could have been cleaner, appeared to have sand on the bottom. The room bathroom was also not as clean as I expect, there was hair from the last guest in it and the toilet didn't appear overly clean either. We did not have breakfast so cannot provide input on that.

Breakfast was excellent and bed very comfortable. Room and bath clean.
Used side entrance to access room. Old carpeting and other trash thrown out there. Looked nasty. I know there were renovations in progress but workers could police the area before leaving for the day. Obviously the contractor could care less. Manager should check this out.

Not much. It was Ok enough, but not for what we paid.
The place is dated, with items (carpets) needing replacement & vacuuming. There are illogical room layouts, and mis-matching of materials used in repairs, where what they really need is a remodel. Desk clerk was multitasking ironing & folding linens, and was not there upon check-in. (6pm) (Sign said to call him on house phone) . Parking lot was dirty. Place is a time-warp, bizarre. Bonus: workers in bucket lifts outside our window 8:30 am on a Sunday installing siding!!! We were surprised, and had to shut the drapes!

The location
We arrived 1 1/2 hours early asked if rooms were available front desk said no not until 3 which was fine we understood, we were early but when we returned at 3 they told us it would be another 45 minutes. I was not happy after 20 minutes they asked if they could put us in no the rooms. First of all why couldn't they have done that from the start.

Arose late Saturday morning, went to breakfast at 9:30 and it was slim pickings. Went to bed about 10:30 Saturday night and listened to noise in the halls until about 4 AM. Mentioned this to the desk clerk as we checked out a day early and he refunded one nights stay. We will probably not return.
